Q. How can I make a donation to the library?
A.
You can make a donation by going to the main library office or any of
the branch libraries. You
can also make a donation by going online here.

Q. How do I get a library card?
A. Go to the library or to the online web site
Q. Can I get a library card if I don’t live in Sevier County?
A. If you live in the Nolichucky Region you can get a library card
If you live outside the region, you can get a card with a $25.00 non-refundable
yearly fee.
Q. How long does it take to get a library card?
A. You will have your card as soon as you fill out the form and show proper identification.
Q. How much does a library card cost?
A. Your first card is free. Replacement cards are $3.00.

Q. Is my library card good at the branches?
A. Yes. Your card can be used at the Seymour Branch, 137 W. Macon Lane and the
Kodak Branch, 319 W. Dumplin Valley Road.
Q. What can I borrow with my library card?
A. Books, magazines, DVDs, videos, audio books/cds, & music
cds
Q. What are the loan periods?
A. Books, magazines and music cds are loaned for 3 weeks
DVDs/videos are for 7 days
Audio books/cds for 3 weeks
Q. If I forget to bring my library card, may I still check items out?
A. You can still check out items but you will be required to show identification.
Q. What if I lose my library card?
A. A replacement card will be issued for a $3.00 fee.
Q. What happens if I lost or damaged items?
A. If an item is lost, the maximum fee will be the replacement cost of the item
plus a processing fee of $5.00. If the replacement cost is less than $5.00, the
processing fee will be equal to the replacement cost.
Q. Can I return my items to any library?
A. You can return your items to the main library, the Seymour or the Kodak Branch.
Q. Do you have Notary Services at the library?
A. Yes. We have a notary at the main library, the Seymour Branch, the Kodak
Branch and the Genealogy/History Center.
Q. Do you have microfilm at your library?
A. Yes. We have microfilm in our Genealogy/History Center on the 3rd floor
of the King Family Library, in Sevierville.
Q. Do you have homebound delivery service?
A. Not at this time.
Q. Do you have a public fax machine?
A. We have a public fax machine at the King Family Library in Sevierville,
the Seymour Branch and the Kodak Branch library.
Q. Can I print copies?
A. Yes you can. Black & White copies are $.15 each and color copies
are $.50 each.
Q. Do you have computers for public use?
A. Yes we have public access computers at all branches.
Q. Do you charge for using a computer?
A. There is no charge for using our public access computers except for
printing.
Q. How long can I use a computer?
A. You can use a stand up computer for 15 minutes and all other computers
for 45 minutes.

A. Yes
Q. Do you have WiFi?
A. Yes
Q. Do you offer computer classes?
A. Yes.
Q. What can I donate?
A. We will take clean books that are in good condition.
Q. Where do book donations go?
A. If we can’t use the book in the library system, we will save it
for our booksale.

Q. Are non-monetary donations tax-deductable?
